Emily Hutmaker earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Degree from Clemson University and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education Degree from the College of Charleston. She is certified by the South Carolina Department of Education in Elementary Education. Mrs. Hutmaker has also been trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach. Emily taught second and third grades in Charleston before moving home to Greenville. She tutors at Christ Church Episcopal School and also works with several Augusta Circle and Sara Collins students.

 

Emily is married to Cody Hutmaker and they have two children, Kate (3) and Charlie (13 months) and a black lab named Luna. Emily stays busy with her two babies, but also loves the beach, Clemson football, golf, and spending time with family and friends.
